After spending 22 years milking cows, Gary began exploring ministry approximately 23 years ago. He spent several years developing his gifts through various ministry internships and although he did not attend seminary, those experiences helped prepare him for pastoral ministry.
Seventeen years ago, he and his wife, Sandy, began serving together in ministry as Interim Pastors and continued serving in several congregations until 2023. He began serving at Lockport in September 202 especially enjoys connecting with others, hearing stories of faith, and caring for those in need.
Alongside ministry, he continues to raise cattle on pasture and sell grass-fed beef from the family farm. In his spare time, he enjoys working in the woods, finding it to be a refreshing and rewarding time with God.
